GROUND BEEF AND SPINACH PASTA BAKE
I was surprised at how few recipes there were on here for ground beef and spinach with pasta, aside from lasagna and manicotti, so I made this up one night.

Steps:
- Saute the onion in a deep frying pan for 1-2 minutes, then add the ground beef.
- Cook until beef is browned, then add the tomatoes, spices, salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for 3-4 minutes, then add the spinach and simmer 3-4 minutes more.
- Adjust seasonings to taste.
- Meanwhile, boil and drain the pasta according to directions on the package.
- Combine the two and place in a baking tray.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the top and bake in a hot oven until melted and the dish is pipping hot, about 5 minutes.
- Serve with a salad and garlic bread.
ONE POT CHEESY MUSHROOM SPINACH BEEF PASTA

- Cook your mushrooms: place a large pot over medium-high heat and add in 1 tablespoon butter. Once butter melts, add in the mushrooms, onions, garlic and salt and pepper. Stir occasionally until mushrooms and onions are cooked down and mushrooms start to brown slightly about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a bowl.
- In the same pot add in your ground beef then season with salt and pepper, and break up the meat, cooking until no longer pink, about 5-8 minutes. Add mushroom & onion mixture back to the pot then stir in the spinach. Once spinach wilts down, immediately add in milk and chicken broth.
- Next, stir in the egg noodles and bring to a slight boil; you'll cook until the pasta is nice and tender, about 10-12 minutes (depending on your pasta shape) and most of the liquid (but not all!) is absorbed. You'll want a little bit of liquid left to make the sauce nice and creamy.
- Remove from heat and stir in the mozzarella and parmesan cheese and add additional salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately and enjoy! Serves 4.

- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Add eggs and Parmesan cheese. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-in. deep-dish pie plate. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes., Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook the beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in pasta sauce and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes., Between two pieces of waxed paper, roll out cream cheese into a 7-in. circle. Place in crust. Top with spinach and meat sauce. CREAMY BEEF AND PASTA CASSEROLE WITH SPINACH
I created this casserole while trying to use up some ingredients I had. It came out sooooo good. Sometimes I had some green pepper and/or mushrooms. It's a regular favorite!

Steps:
- Brown ground beef in a skillet with onion and garlic. Drain.
- While beef is browning, prepare pasta in a large pot according to package directions. Drain pasta and set aside.
- Return empty pasta pot to stove and over med-low heat, stir together tomato sauce and cream cheese until cream cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
- Reduce heat to low. Add 1 cup of the cheddar cheese; stir well. Add thyme, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Stir well.
- Add drained pasta, drained browned beef mixture and drained spinach to pot. Gently stir to combine and coat well.
- Pour into a 13 x 9" baking dish or similar size casserole dish. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and starting to slightly brown.

Finally, a way to get even your pickiest eaters to eat their spinach! This is a filling and quick casserole that can easily be made low fat if you use ground turkey and low-fat cheese. Serve with a green salad and some french bread and dinner is served!

- In a large wok or frying pan heat oil and cook onion and garlic in a small amount of oil until transparent.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted. Set aside.
- Brown ground beef and season with garlic salt, salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
- Combine cooked pasta, spinach, ground beef, cheese (amount to your preference, my family likes it cheesy!) and soup.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Place in a large baking dish, cover in a layer of shredded cheese.
- Cover with tin foil and place in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and place back in oven for another 10 minutes.
SPINACH AND SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE
I never liked Spinach til I had to try this recipe at my sister-n-laws and from than on I made this casserole for special dinners I either attended or made for supper at home. Its a favorite to many of my friends and family and I thought I would share with everyone here at Recipezaar. Hope you like it too!

- Preheat oven to 350'.
- Cook Spinach and drain well.
- Cook Angel hair spaghetti according to package and drain well.
- Combine egg, sour cream, milk, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and Montery Jack cheese in a large bowl.
- Stir well to combine Add cooked/drained Spaghetti and Spinach (while hot) to mixture and mix well.
- Grease lightly a casserole dish and spread mixture into dish.
- Cover casserole dish and bake for 15 minutes than take out of oven and uncover and bake for 45 minutes longer in oven or until lightly browned.
