CLASSIC BROWNIES
Right in the middle of fudgy and cakey, these easy brownies will make either crowd happy.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with foil, leaving a 2-inch overhang on at least 2 sides. Butter the foil.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder and salt in a medium bowl. Melt the butter and chocolate in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently. Let cool slightly. Stir in the sugar and eggs. Add the flour mixture, and stir to combine. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, and bake until a toothpick comes out with just a few crumbs, 30 to 35 minutes.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack. Use the foil overhang to help lift them out of the pan. Cut into 16 squares. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

The recipe for these moist, delicious brownies has been in my family for as long as I can remember. It is a winner with everyone and is a great bake sale item. At a recent sale, one man came back twice and then sent his son for more!

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Beat butter and sugars with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract. Blend in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix in oats and 1 cup chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly in an ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup chocolate chips evenly on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until edges are browned and center is light brown, 20 to 22 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool completely before cutting into 24 bars.

- Adjust an oven rack to the middle position and heat the oven to 350 Degrees. Line an 8-inch square pan with foil then coat lightily with vegetable oil spray. Melt the butter and chocolate together in the microwave, stirring often, 1 to 3 minutes. Let the mixture cool slightly.

- Scrape the butter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few crumbs attached, 22 to 27 minutes.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack to room temperature, about 2 hours, before removing the brownies from the pan using the foil and cutting into squares.
