Ingredients

3/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 pounds ground pork
8 pieces unsweetened sliced pineapple
8 bacon strips
8 sesame seed hamburger buns, split

Steps:

In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble pork over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight patties. Top each with a pineapple slice; wrap with a bacon strip. , Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat 4-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160°. Serve on buns.

Five ingredients and 20 minutes are all you need to serve up these mouthwatering pork burgers! A slice of grilled pineapple adds a tropical touch.

Ingredients

1 lb ground pork
2 tablespoons dry applewood rub seasoning
1 can (8 oz) pineapple slices in juice, drained and 2 tablespoons juice reserved
4 onion or plain hamburger buns, split
4 leaves lettuce

Steps:

Heat gas or charcoal grill. In medium bowl, mix pork, seasoning and 2 tablespoons reserved pineapple juice. Shape mixture into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Place patties on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 6 to 7 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink in center and meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 160°F. During last 4 minutes of cooking time, add pineapple slices to grill, turning once.
On bun bottoms, place lettuce, burger and pineapple slice. Cover with bun tops.
