APPLE PIE MOONSHINE

Steps:

• In a large stock pot, combine the apple cider, apple juice, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, and apple pie spice. Bring to almost a boil. Cover the pot with a lid and reduce heat. Simmer for one hour. Remove the pot from heat and allow the mixture to cool.
• Once cool, remove the cinnamon sticks. Stir in the grain alcohol and vodka. Transfer the apple pie moonshine into sterilized quart jars or bottles and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
• The Apple Pie Moonshine can be enjoyed immediately. However, for the best flavor, store in the jar with a lid in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks before drinking. Shake well before serving.

MOONSHINE APPLE PIE COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Fill a shaker halfway with ice. Add the liqueur, cider, moonshine, cinnamon and vanilla. Shake well. Drizzle about 2 tablespoons of the caramel sauce into each of two pint-size mason jars. Add ice and strain the drink mixture over the top. Garnish with apple slices.

Steps:

• Combine apple juice, apple cider, white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks in a large pot; bring to almost a boil. Cover pot with a lid, reduce heat, and simmer for about 1 hour. Remove pot from heat and cool completely.
• Stir grain alcohol and vodka into syrup and remove cinnamon sticks. Pour apple pie moonshine into clean glass jars or bottles. Store in the refrigerator.

APPLE PIE MOONSHINE COCKTAIL

Steps:

• To make the simple syrup, combine 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar has just dissolved and then transfer to a heatproof container. Cool and refrigerate until ready to use. May be made a week in advance.
• To mix your cocktail, fill a highball glass or pint size mason jar with ice. Add apple slices if using.
• Add the vanilla vodka, apple pie moonshine, and simple syrup.
• Top with apple cider.
• Stir.
• Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.
