AMAZING MONKEY BREAD
When the smell of hot buttery cinnamon starts to permeate your kitchen, you'll be glad you decided to try this recipe and that you went the extra mile with dough made from scratch. Monkey bread is best served warm, fresh from the oven. Simply tear it apart with your hands and enjoy.

Steps:
- Lightly grease a 10-inch Bundt pan and a medium bowl with butter; set aside. Melt the remaining butter and let cool slightly. Mix the melted butter with the milk, water, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix flour and salt in a large bowl. Make a well in flour, and pour milk mixture into well. Using a wooden spoon, stir until dough comes together. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and begin to knead. Continue kneading until dough is smooth, around 10 minutes. Transfer to buttered bowl; cover dough with vegetable oil. Let stand in plastic-wrapped bowl for 20 minutes.
- Melt butter in a small bowl. In a separate small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut dough into ½ inch pieces; roll each into a ball. Working one at a time, dip dough balls into melted butter. Roll in brown sugar mixture; place into greased Bundt pan. Seams should stagger. Cover with a kitchen towel and let stand in a warm room until doubled in size, around 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake until the top is deep golden brown and the coating bubbles, around 30-35 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto serving plate. Serve warm.

AMAZING MONKEY BREAD
This recipe is a big treat, and I often make it at our lake house when we takes guests there. Use the maximum amount of brown sugar listed and all of the pudding package for a sweeter dish. The corn syrup makes it gooey! Make sure you plan ahead - this recipe needs to sit overnight.

- Arrange dinner roll dough in a grease tube pan.
- Heat butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until sugar is dissolved about 5 minutes; pour over rolls. Sprinkle with pecans and pudding mix. Mix white sugar and cinnamon in a bowl; sprinkle over pudding mix. Pour corn syrup evenly over cinnamon mixture. Cover tube pan with a sheet of greased aluminum foil and allow dough to rise overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Move rack to the lower half of the oven.
- Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, 35 to 40 minutes. Allow bread to rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Invert pan onto a baking sheet or large plate to serve.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9 or 10 inch tube/Bundt® pan.
- Mix white sugar and cinnamon in a plastic bag. Cut biscuits into quarters. Shake 6 to 8 biscuit pieces in the sugar cinnamon mix. Arrange pieces in the bottom of the prepared pan. Continue until all biscuits are coated and placed in pan. If using nuts and raisins, arrange them in and among the biscuit pieces as you go along.
- In a small saucepan, melt the margarine with the brown sugar over medium heat. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over the biscuits.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 minutes. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a plate. Do not cut! The bread just pulls apart.

SAVORY MONKEY BREAD

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Add the garlic powder and Italian seasoning to the butter. Remove the biscuits from their packaging. Separate each biscuit and cut into quarters, using a pair of kitchen shears. Dip each biscuit piece into the butter and layer them into the Bundt pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before turning out onto a serving platter. Serve with marinara and pesto dipping sauces.

They were making this on our news channel. It's one of the anchormen's mom's recipe, that she has been making for years. Good for a brunch.

Steps:
- Prepare a bundt pan with cooking spray (buttered flavored), arrange pecans on bottom of pan.
- Sprinkle 3 tbsp of brown sugar over the pecans.
- In deep mixing bowl combine both sugars, cinnamon and mix well.
- Melt butter and mix with vanilla.
- Cut loaves in half and then into eights (each loaf should have 16 slices).
- Roll each slice into a ball and dip in butter mixture.
- Toss them into the sugar mixture to coat and layer on top of the pecan mixture in the pan.
- Continue the process until all the slices /balls are coated and in the pan.
- Let rise in a warm place until double in size.
- Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and invert onto serving platter.
- Allow the bread to rest about 5 minutes before removing the bundt pan.
- Serve warm.
- May prepare this the night before, follow the directions and cover with wax paper, it will continue to raise in the refrigerator overnight.
- After you take it out let it come to room temperature, then just follow the baking directions.
