Make crispy seasoned air fryer sweet potato wedges with simple ingredients

2 medium sweet potatoes
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • Slice the ends off each sweet potato and cut them into wedges. Combine salt, pepper, smoked paprika, cayenne, cinnamon, onion powder, and garlic powder to make a seasoning blend.
  • Pour oil over the sweet potato wedges and toss to coat them. Pour the seasoning blend into the bowl and toss again to coat.
  • Preheat air fryer to 350F for 5 minutes. Arrange sweet potato wedges in an air fryer basket. Make sure that the wedges are not touching - you may need to cook them in more than one batch.
  • Air fry the seasoned sweet potato wedges at 350F for 8 minute. Remove them from the air fryer, flip them, and return them to cook for another 4 minutes. Allow them to cool slightly and enjoy!

1 sweet potato
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt, kosher salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp cayenne

Steps:

  • Prepare sweet potato by washing, peeling and slicing into wedges. Slice into wedges, by first slicing in half, then slice those halves in half and repeat until you have wedges.
  • Place sliced wedges in a medium mixing bowl.
  • In a small bowl combine the ingredients for the spice mixture.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the sweet potato wedges and toss to coat, either with your hands or tongs.
  • Sprinkle half of the seasoning mixture over the wedges, add more to taste. You can reserve the remaining for an additional sweet potato.
  • Toss to coat the sweet potato wedges evenly with seasoning.
  • Place in the basket of your air fryer and set to 400ºF.
  • Set the timer for 20 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn the sweet potato wedges. Continue to cook an additional 5-10 minutes, until to desired crispiness.

1 medium sweet potato
½ teaspoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter, or to taste
1 tablespoon brown sugar, or to taste
¼ teaspoon cinnamon, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Wash sweet potato and pierce holes throughout. Rub olive oil all over sweet potato using your hands and place in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook in the preheated air fryer for 15 minutes. Turn sweet potato and continue to cook until potato is soft and tender, 15 to 20 minutes more.
  • Cut a slit on top of the sweet potato and top with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
