1-2 Ribeye (New York, or Tri Tip Steaks (1 inch thick))
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
salt and pepper
1/4 cup butter (softened)
1 garlic clove (minced)
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
1 teaspoon fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. Prepare the steaks by rubbing olive oil on each side. Rub the Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper on each side.
  • Add the steak to the air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes, turning over ager 6 minutes for medium. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes and top with garlic butter.

1/4 teaspoon reduced-sodium soy sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Place steak on tray in air-fryer basket. Cook until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°), 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through cooking., Meanwhile, combine butter, parsley, garlic and soy sauce. Serve with steak.

Yes, you can even cook steak in an air fryer! We found that thicker cuts, like sirloin, are best -- they turn nice and browned on the outside without overcooking. Plus, there's very little clean up. We added a homemade garlic-herb butter to melt over the steak for a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner.

One 1-pound sirloin steak, about 1 inch thick
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
1 small clove garlic, finely grated
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Allow the steak to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Preheat a 3.5-quart air fryer to 400 degrees F. Season the steak on both sides with a generous pinch of salt and several grinds of black pepper. Place the steak in the center of the air fryer basket and cook until desired doneness, about 10 minutes for medium-rare, 12 minutes for medium and 14 minutes for medium-well. Transfer the steak to a cutting board and allow to rest, about 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mash together the butter, parsley, chives, garlic and crushed red pepper in a small bowl until combined. Slice the steak against the grain into 1/4-inch-thick pieces. Top with the garlic-herb butter.

1 (8 ounce) boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped
½ medium onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
3 tablespoons garlic butter, melted
1 sprig fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C), if recommended by manufacturer.
  • Combine steak bites, mushrooms, and onions in a bowl. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; stir until ingredients are evenly mixed.
  • Lightly brush cooking surface of air fryer basket basket with some of the melted butter.
  • Pour remaining melted butter over steak bites and vegetables and stir to combine. Spread out steak bites and vegetables in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air-fry in the preheated device until steak has reached desired doneness, about 7 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read between 130 and 140 degrees F (54 and 60 degrees C) for medium-rare. For medium doneness, the temperature should read 140 to 150 degrees F (60 to 65 degrees C). If you prefer your steak more done, add additional cooking time.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, if using, and serve.
