I was getting some high temps on my memory chip because the fans would ramp to 100% even when the GPU was like 75C so I decided to replace the pads. I cleaned off everything with isopropyl and installed TG minus8 2mm pads on all the ram and arctic mx4 on the die.

Asked evga and they said I should use 2.25mm (2.5mm) and 2.75mm (3mm), After I received thermal pads and teared GPU apart, went browsing forums someone said that he have used 1mm and 2mm thermal pads.
