VIETNAMESE AVOCADO SMOOTHIE (SINH Tố Bơ)
Steps:
- Halve the avocados and remove the pit, then scoop the contents into a blender.Tip: To easily remove the pit, use a knife and firmly knock the blade into the pit until it is slightly wedged inside. Twist the knife while it's still inside to take the pit out.
- Add the milk, condensed milk and ice into the blender along with the avocado.
- Blitz the contents on high until it has reached your desired consistency, then serve in a cup as is!

This super easy avocado smoothie recipe will give you an almost sinful dessert with the richness of and extra texture formed by frozen Haas avocado slices.

- To make the frozen avocado slices, cut ripe avocados in medium sized slices. Line a sheet pan with wax paper and place the avocado slices individually on the pan. Place this sheet in the freezer for one hour. When they have frozen, you can use them for the smoothie or put them in a freezer safe container.
- To make the smoothie, add all the ingredients into a strong blender. Consistency should be super thick with small chunks of the frozen avocados.
- This ratio is not too sweet, but you can adjust the amount of condensed milk for a sweeter taste. To make this a smoother consistency, you can add more milk too.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass and eat with a straw or spoon (it's that thick!).

There are numerous Sinh Tos just as there are numerous kinds of fruit. This is from an old newspaper clipping I found in my grandmother's recipe box. She liked to colect international recipes long before it was popular to do so.

Steps:
- Boil the fructose and water for about 4 min to get fructose syrup.
- Blend all the ingredients, except for the ice and coconut milk, until smooth, then pass the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve.
- To serve, pour the drink into chilled tall glasses, add the ice cubes and top with coconut milk.
- This beverage is also usually served with a shot glass of iced water to remove any aftertaste.
