1 lb ground beef
1 package (1 oz) Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
2 cans (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count)
Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced ripe olives, taco sauce or salsa, as desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef until no longer pink. Add taco seasoning mix and 1/2 cup water. Simmer 3 to 4 minutes or until slightly thickened. In medium bowl, mix beef mixture and cheese.
  • Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 16 triangles. On ungreased large cookie sheet, arrange triangles in ring so short sides of triangles form a 5-inch circle in center. Dough will overlap. Dough ring should look like the sun.
  • Spoon beef mixture on the half of each triangle closest to center of ring.
  • Bring each dough triangle up over filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat around ring until entire filling is enclosed (some filling might show a little).
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Cool 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into serving slices.

1 pound lean ground beef
1 ounce taco seasoning ((1 packet))
1/2 cup water
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
16 ounces refrigerated crescent roll dough ((2 cans) not whole dough sheets )
2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded, divided)
Iceberg lettuce (shredded)
Cheddar cheese (shredded)
Jalapeno (sliced)
Pico de gallo
Guacamole
Sour cream

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and no longer pink, about 8 minutes.
  • Add taco seasoning and water to beef. Mix together and cook for another 3 minutes, or until the water evaporates.
  • Transfer taco meat to a mixing bowl and let cool a bit. Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese to the meat and stir to combine.
  • Grab a large baking sheet and arrange crescent triangles into a sun shaped circle with the points facing outward and overlapping a little.
  • Place the cheesy taco meat around the center circle of the dough. Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Fold the dough points over the meat and then lay the points in the middle of the ring. Then tuck all the dough points under the center dough ring to secure the filling in place.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until crescent rolls are golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  • Transfer ring to a serving platter. Fill center with taco toppings and then cut into slices. Serve warm.

This isn't just any old taco ring, it's filled with corn chips, guacamole, sour cream, cheese and tomatoes - easy and delicious, ready to serve a crowd!

1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 1/4 ounce package taco seasoning mix
1 cup corn chips, crushed
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1/2 cup water
2 8 ounce packages refrigerated Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls (look for the twin pack at Walmart)
4 ounces guacamole, homemade or store-bought
4 ounces sour cream
1 cup shredded lettuce
2 roma tomatoes, chopped
salsa, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cook ground beef and onion in large skillet over medium heat until beef is no longer pink; drain.
  • Stir in taco seasoning mix and water. Set aside.
  • Unroll dough from both containers; separate into triangles.
  • Arrange triangles in a circle on a greased baking sheet creating a sunburst effect (wide ends should overlap in the center with about a 4-5 inch opening in the center) (similar with wide ends overlapping in center and points toward outside. (There should be a 5 inch diameter opening in center.)
  • Add corn chips and shredded cheese to meat mixture until well-combined.
  • Scoop meat mixture onto wide end of each triangles.
  • Pull the pointed ends of the dough up over filling and tuck under wide ends at center of ring.
  • Bake at 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  • Layer guacamole, sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes in center of circle.
  • Slice and serve with a scoop of toppings from the center of the taco ring.
  • Top with salsa immediately before serving (optional).

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 lb lean ground beef
1 1/4 ounces taco seasoning, pack
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 (8 ounce) cans store bought crescent rolls
1 1/2 cups shredded colby-monterey jack cheese
1 cup store bought guacamole
1/4 cup store bought salsa
2 scallions, thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 12 cup bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a saute pan over medium high heat. Add the ground beef and brown until cooked through.
  • Add the tacos seasoning along with ¼ cup water. Stir until combined. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  • Place crescent rolls in the bundt pan by placing the thinner side of the triangle in the pan coming up a few inches on the tube of the pan. Allow the large side to rest on the outer edge of the pan.
  • Mix remaining shredded cheese with the seasoned beef and add it to the pan. Fold the larger ends of the crescent rolls over the mixture. There should be a small gap between each roll.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Turn out onto a sheet tray and sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese. Place back in oven until cheese has melted, about 5 minutes.
  • Allow to rest for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
  • When ready to serve, place a small bowl in the center of the ring to create a bowl. Fill with guacamole then top with salsa. Garnish the ring with sliced scallions.
