Simple Glazed Salmon Fillets - Traeger Grills image

Grilled salmon on your Traeger is about half the price of your favorite steak house salmon & tastes even more smoky & delicious. Hardwood smoked salmon.

(6-8 oz) center-cut salmon fillets, skin-on
Traeger Fin & Feather Rub
Mayonnaise
Dijon mustard
Fresh lemon juice
chopped fresh tarragon, dill, or flat-leaf parsley, plus more for garnish
Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Steps:

  • When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 350°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
  • Season the salmon fillets with Traeger Fin & Feather Rub.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, and tarragon. Spread the glaze over the flesh side of the fish.
  • Arrange the salmon fillets directly on the grill grates, skin-side down. Close the lid and grill until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, 25-30 minutes.
  • Transfer the salmon to a platter. Garnish with more herbs and serve with lemon wedges, if desired. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

"My husband caught a lot of salmon when we lived in Alaska, so I had to learn how to cook it," explains Jerilyn Colvin of Foxboro, Massachusetts. "Basted with a sweet glaze, this tasty fillet is a staple in our house. Our six children absolutely love it," she adds.

1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
6 tablespoons butter, melted
3 to 6 tablespoons lemon juice
2-1/4 teaspoons dill weed
3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 salmon fillet (about 2 pounds)
Lemon-pepper seasoning

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Remove 1/2 cup to a saucepan; simmer until heated through. Set aside remaining mixture for basting. , Sprinkle salmon with lemon-pepper. Moisten a paper towel in cooking oil; using long-handled tongs, rub on grill rack to coat lightly. Place salmon on grill with skin side down. , Grill, covered, over medium heat for 5 minutes. Brush with the reserved brown sugar mixture. Grill 10-15 minutes longer, basting occasionally. Serve with the warmed sauce.

1 salmon fillet (about 1 pound)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
1-1/2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon soy sauce
4-1/2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
Dash pepper
Lemon wedges, optional

Steps:

  • Place fish, skin side down, in disposable foil pan. Combine the lemon juice, vinegar, lemon zest, basil, garlic powder and soy sauce; pour over fish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and pepper. , Place pan on grill. Cover grill and cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. If desired, top with additional grated Parmesan cheese and pepper and serve with lemon wedges.
