PEACH CREAM CHEESE DANISH
This easy, homemade, Peach Cream Cheese Danish is a mix of sweetened cream cheese, fresh peach slices, and buttery, golden, puff pastry. Perfect for breakfast or brunch!

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl mix cream cheese, confectioner's sugar, and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
- Unfold thawed puff pastry sheet and roll it out into a rectangle that is ¼ inch thick.
- Cut into 6 equal rectangles.
- Lightly score the puff pastry pieces by drawing a smaller rectangle within each one. This creates a "ring" around the outside of each piece that will puff up.
- Use a fork to prick the middle of each puff pastry piece several times so it does not rise like the outer ring will.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of cream cheese in the center of each puff pastry.
- Top with a thin layer of peach preserves.
- Finish by topping peach preserves with 2 slices of fresh peach.
- Make a simple egg wash by mixing the egg and water and brush the egg wash around the outer edge of the puff pastry.
- Place in a 400 F oven to bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the pastry bakes make the glaze by mixing the confectioner's sugar, milk, and vanilla together in a bowl.
- Once the pastry is cooked and has cooled to room temperature drizzle the glaze over the pastries and enjoy!

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line 2 baking pans with parchment paper.
- Beat the whole egg with 1 teaspoon of water in a small bowl; set aside.
- Beat the egg yolk, cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until smooth.
- Lay out the 2 sheets of puff pastry and cut each into 4 squares. Fold the corners of the squares over by about 1 inch to make octagon shapes. Spoon the cream cheese mixture evenly into the center of each (about 2 tablespoons per); do not spread the cream cheese. Brush all of the exposed pastry with the egg wash, then dust generously with sugar.
- Bake until puffed and golden brown all over, about 18 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Line bottom of baking pan with 1 can of crescent rolls. Pinch all seams together to seal.
- In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, white sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract and sour cream. Spread filling on top of rolls. Place second can of rolls on top of filling.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, stir together confectioners' sugar, milk and butter. After Danish has cooled, drizzle with icing.
