Celebrate the holidays with this festive Cranberry Mojito. This colorful sparkling cocktail is sweet, tart and absolutely delicious!

15 - 16 mint leaves
4 tablespoons brown sugar
¼ cup lime juice
1 cup cranberry juice
6 oz white rum
1 cup seltzer water
ice
lime slice (cranberries and mint for garnish.)

Steps:

  • In a jar, break up the mint leaves with the back of a wooden spoon or pestle to release the mint flavor.
  • Add the brown sugar, lemon juice, cranberry juice, rum, and mineral water. Stir to combine.
  • Serve in glasses with ice. Garnish with lime wedges, blueberries and a sprig of mint.

2 Teaspoons. Honey (Or Simple Syrup)
1/3 Cup Mint Leaves
3 Cups Ice
Optional Garnish: Lime Wedges, Fresh Cranberries

Steps:

  • Combine cranberry juice, seltzer water, lime juice, rum, mint leaves and honey. Muddle and mix to combine, in a cocktail shaker.
  • Fill 3 glasses with ice, fill with cranberry mixture and garnish with lime and fresh cranberries. Serve. I like to add some lime wedges in the center of the ice too!

2 cups cranberry juice
1/2 cup agave syrup or honey, or more as needed
1/4 cup packed fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
2 1/2 cups white rum, such as Cruzan Aged Light Rum
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup sparkling water or ginger ale

Steps:

  • Combine the cranberry juice, agave and mint in a medium saucepan over medium heat just until it comes to a boil. Whisk to combine, then cover and steep until the cranberry juice tastes like mint, 3 to 5 minutes. If not sweet enough for your liking, add a bit more syrup. Strain out the mint and pour the liquid into a pitcher.
  • Stir the rum and lime juice into the pitcher and refrigerate until cold.
  • To serve, add 3 to 4 mint leaves, a few cranberries and ice to lowball or wine glasses. Pour in the chilled drink, then top off with a splash of sparkling water or ginger ale. Enjoy!

1 oz margarita mix
Splash of fresh lime juice
1 g sugar
8 mint leaves, muddled
8 cranberries, muddled
Splash of soda
Mint sprig, for garnish

Steps:

  • Add mint, cranberries, sugar and lime juice to a Boston shaker.
  • Add rum and margarita mix, fill with ice and shake vigorously.
  • Dump into a small rocks glass, top with ice and splash with soda.
  • Garnish with a mint sprig and serve with a large straw.

1/2 cup sugar
1 3/4 cups light rum
1 1/4 cups fresh lime juice
3/4 cup frozen cranberry juice cocktail concentrate, thawed
2 10-ounce bottles sparkling water, chilled

Steps:

  • Using a wooden spoon, mash mint with sugar in bottom of large pitcher. Add rum and lime juice; stir to dissolve sugar.
  • Mix in thawed cranberry juice concentrate and water. Mix in 6 cups ice.

Club soda is often contains additives such as table salt and occasionally light flavorings. The decision between the two waters is usually a matter of taste and availability.

8 ounces fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
20 mint leaves
2 tablespoons lime juice
ice
4 ounces white rum
4 -6 ounces soda water
fresh cranberries, optional garnish

Steps:

  • Put the cranberries, sugar and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer. Lower the heat to low and continue to cook for about 10 minutes, remove from heat before the berries start bursting. Should you have some of the cransberries burst, don't fret over it. Cool completely.
  • Once the berry mixture has cooled, strain and discard the berries.
  • Put about 10 leaves of mint and one tablespoon lime juice into each glass. With the back of a wooden spoon or a muddler mash the mint.
  • Add ice to each glass and pour 2 ounces of the cranberry syrup and 2 oz. rum into each glass.
  • Top off each glass with soda water and float a few fresh cranberries a garnish.
