CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZEL FUDGE
Creamy chocolate fudge stuffed with broken chocolate covered pretzels makes the perfect salty sweet combo in this Chocolate Covered Pretzel Fudge

Steps:
- Line 9x13 glass pan with parchment & then spray lightly with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Put semi-sweet chocolate chips & vanilla in mixer bowl. Set aside.
- Heat sugar, margarine, evaporated milk & marshmallow cream in 3 qt. heavy saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until mixture boils, boil for 5 full minutes- stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat. Pour into mixer bowl over the top of the chocolate chips.
- Beat with whip attachment in mixer until it's smooth & looks like silk. (if you did not use premium chocolate- it will be grainy & watery)
- Transfer to your prepared dish.
- Top with crumbled chocolate covered pretzels & press in
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting & serving.
EASY SALTED PRETZEL CHOCOLATE FUDGE
Steps:
- Line a 20cmx20cm dish with parchment/baking paper. (Any size from around 20-25cm would work, your fudge will just be slightly thinner.)
- Melt together the milk chocolate, condensed milk and butter over low heat.
- Sift together the icing sugar and cocoa powder.
- When the chocolate mixture is smooth, beat in the icing sugar mix until you have a smooth, thick dough-like mixture.
- Transfer to the prepared dish and smooth the top. Press the pretzels into the fudge and sprinkle with salt (if using).
- Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours to set before slicing into squares.
- Place in a airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to a week.

Steps:
- Line an 8-inch square baking pan with lightly greased parchment paper or non-stick foil and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, place the chocolate chips. Microwave at 70 percent power for 90 seconds. Stir, using the residual heat to fully melt the chocolate until smooth. If needed, microwave at 30 second, then 15 second intervals additionally.
- Stir the sweetened condensed milk into the chocolate until the mixture is very smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan. Top with pretzels. You should fit 4 to 5 pretzels across and 5 pretzels down for an 8-inch pan.
- Sprinkle the fudge with 2 to 3 pinches of coarse sea salt.
- Chill the fudge in the refrigerator until well set, about 2 hours.
- Cut into squares so one whole pretzel is on each square of fudge.

- Combine the chocolate chips, the milk, and the butter in a medium size glass bowl and heat in the microwave for 90 seconds. Stir to combine and heat another 15 seconds. Stir and heat an additional 15 seconds, only if needed. There will still be a few pieces of unmelted chocolate in the bowl.
- Stir until mostly smooth with just a few flecks of unmelted chocolate. Add the extract, pretzels, and marshmallows to the bowl. Stir to combine. Scoop into a parchment lined loaf pan. Spread with a spatula. Chill until ready to serve.
- Slice into 1-inch squares and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Enjoy!

- Cover a baking sheet with waxed paper.
- In a double broiler set over simmering water, melt the semisweet chocolate with 2 teaspoons shortening, stirring gently constantly; remove from heat.
- Using tongs dip each pretzel in chocolate allowing excess to drip off.
- Place onto waxed paper (if the chocolate in the pot begins to harden then reheat slightly).
