This chocolate cake recipe doesn't use any milk, eggs, or butter. It only uses pantry ingredients. Chocolate crazy cake sweet, delicious, and easy to make!

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup water ((or strong coffee for enhanced chocolate flavor))
1 1/2 cups chocolate frosting ((Use store bought frosting or your own favorite chocolate frosting.))

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and chocolate chips into an ungreased 8x8 inch pan.
Stir all the dry ingredients together and make a well in the center of the pan.
Pour vanilla, vinegar, vegetable oil, and water into well and whisk together until just combined. Do not overmix. It's okay to have some lumps.
Place in oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool cake completely.
Frost with your favorite frosting or dust with powdered sugar.
Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy!

6 ounces whole wheat flour (if plain, add 3 tsp of baking powder)
2 ounces ground almonds
2 teaspoons mixed spice
1 lb mixed fruit
4 ounces dates
4 ounces apricots
orange rind or lemon
1/2 pint water
2 tablespoons orange juice

Steps:

Soak fruit in the liquid overnight.
Add the dry ingredients.
Bake in a 2 lb loaf tin for approx 1 1/2 hrs at 160 c, covering for the.
last 1/2 hour.

This cake can be mixed in the container it is going to be baked in for example a roasting pan or a round deep cake tin. There is no need to grease it. This makes a lovely moist chocolate cake and a good size too perfect as a birthday cake.

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
2/3 cup cocoa (can use less)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 tablespoons vinegar
2/3 cup cooking oil
2 cups water

Steps:

Mix dry ingredients throughly.
Add liquids and mix well with a fork.
Bake at 180 Celcius for 1 1/4 hours. or until cooked when tested with a knife.
The cake can be iced or left plain.
It makes a nice dessert with cream or custard.
